Meet Cloudburst’s New Product: Localyst

One of the cool parts about working at Cloudburst SBC is helping founders create their own tech products that build their businesses. Another cool part is leveraging our super smart, savvy, strategic team to build our own products. 

This week we’re excited to launch our own product, Localyst.

Localyst is a free app that helps you keep track of your favorite physicians, babysitters, contractors, caterers, pet sitters, and other service providers while gaining trusted referrals from your friends and network.

“I had the idea for Localyst while looking for service providers I could trust, and I was frustrated with the existing options. Word of mouth is the best way to get referrals, but there was no efficient method for reaching out to friends, especially for a more time-sensitive request,” said Zack Stevens, Founder and CEO of Localyst and also Cloudburst SBC. 

So Zack and the Cloudburst team imagined what it would be like to have all your favorite vendors’ contact information in one place, making their names and info easy to find and easy to share. Like your own online Rolodex (if you remember those things).

No more saving people to your contact list as “Dave Lawncare” and no more asking random Facebook Groups for sensitive referrals.

With Localyst, your veterinarian, babysitter, dentist, tutor, house sitter, gardener, repairman, auto mechanic, hair stylist, and everyone else’s contact info is saved in one easy-to-find place and always at your fingertips.

What I really want is to know who my friends recommend.
